just wondering whats the best overall sub in the 12" size in a ported or sealed box w/e works best for that sub

cvx will sound great sealed or ported, I'd recommend running it with a zx750.1

ok well i plan on getting 2 12's

my other question is will the l7's be louder than the cvx's or not

i want something loud and sound good

yes the black model 1500.1

get the subs in dual 2ohms so its a 2ohm load for the amp

another question i have would it sound bad or would it matter if i got 4 of the cvx's and had 2 in a ported box for loudness and 2 in a sealed box for sq

exactly lol and if they would sound good with a setup like that then i am going to want to get l7's so one set is for loudness and the other set is for sq so it would sound decent overall with both sets together

they r goin in a truck rite.u want loud not sq.l7 will be loud but no sq.cvx i heard has a little bit more of sq than a l7.

you know what you do. get an l7 and a cvx. then make a 2 chamber box. have the ported chamber for the l7 and the sealed chamber for the cvx.

its a legitamate strategy

yes a f150 i am going to get a custom box built ported that is to fit in place of the rear console i have a king ranch with bucket seats and then down the road i am going to get 2 more 12's to put in one of the seats and i figured if i put the 2nd set of 12's in a sealed box then i would have a good mix of spl and sq
