What 4 8's for my truck

I know a lot of you will say go with 2 10's and other suggestions but for now I'm looking exclusively for 8's as I want to have them front firing and don't have the height for front firing 10's or height to have a good set downfiring. 8's seem like the logical choice here but I want your opinions on who makes a really good 8 that will slam the truck and have good SQ. Probably going to power the whole system with a Memphis Belle in case you're wondering.

I was pondering the same situation. I was looking at the Elemental Design 9kv.2's. Image Dynamic ID8's. RE 8's. I ended up with a pair of Image Dynamic IDQv.3 in a ported enclosure. The box is designed with the subs firing up and the ports are firing to the sides. I opted for this setup as apposed to the forward firing 8's as I was concerned about passengers kicking the subs.

you can also look into assassin 8s and rl-i 8s.

I let another one out that I was considering for 8's was the Diamond Audio.

If you're gonna be running the Belle you need to make sure that the subs are either D2 of SVC 4 ohm driver to get a 1 ohm load with 4 of them.
