cvx vs L7 vs cvr

i doubt he'll hit 150 but 140's is pretty easy to achieve with one sub.i know ppl hit mid 140's with 1 10 inch sub..im hitting mid 140's with one 15" sx..so with 2 cvx or l7's that easily doable..but it get pretty hard to get louder when you get up to the 150 range..

This thread is like watching two virgins have ***. Nobody knows what they're doing.

The response differences between the ported and sealed boxes are going to result in one big muddled mess. If you want both, have an A/B switch that lets you switch between the two sets of drivers depending on your mood. However the cheaper option is to build a good ported box that actually can sound pretty good and only go with a single pair of subs.

Bandpass boxes are not meant to give you the benefits of both ported and sealed (which is good because they don't). A basic 4th order BP may have both a ported and sealed chamber but that is not the reason.

It's not as hard as some people make it out to be.

ok well i am just not sure what i want 2 cvx's or 2 l7's i kno both will get loud in ported boxes to please me but how much louder will the l7's be and is that because they are sqaure and are almost the size of a 15
