Never fails. Some guy that I'm willing to bet has NEVER heard any installs with the Mofo's starts doggin on them. I'm not even putting 1000 watts on my subs and they make most people feel sick to their stomachs when they sit in my Explorer. People swear I have 4+ subs back there, but low and behold, two little 12's. They are extremly loud, espiecally for the low price. I've heard dual L7 setups that are not nearly as loud as mine. Period. SQ is NOT as bad like most band wagon people say. They're no Focal setup, but they sound great to me and everyone that has ever sat in my car.

Wow...Tommy took a bashing in this thread. I don't see why. Just because he is Team Kicker doesnt mean that he should lie about what he has experienced. Maybe he should of stayed out of it...but whats wrong with voicing his opinion.

The way I see it, Tommy didnt bash the CVX...but Team kicker came out and bashed him.

This is from an outside prospective, I have friends on Team kicker, Great guys, just dont think yall should rag on the guy for voicing his experiences. Its not like he said ZOMG...Kicker CVX sucks. Just said what he saw when compared. This sport started out about helping the fellow consumer, not about cut throat product wars.

sorry man if you put rms power to a mofo they blow. Ive seen a ton of em. Even the local shop has a stack of about 12 from there first order that blew with some 500 watt amps. they are cheap subs, and there are better out there for the price. Im glad your happy with your setup, but mofos aren't very good subs. A dual l7 setup with the same power should be alot louder. Install is key man. I agree with install is the key. Anyone that has heard a "not loud" or "crappy" Mofo's install, they were prolly sealed or too small of a enclosure. They need big enclosures. I've heard a guy put one on his 2K watt amp trying to blow it and couldent. It took it like a champ. Diden't get any louder than with 1k watts but it took it. They are built like tanks, and sound good and get VERY loud with the right enclosure. Louder than my buddies 2 MA Audio Kore 15's off a PA 3000DB! I wish these people that dog on Mofo's can hear mine, they would change their mind I promise.

i went with the cvx. just for the fact that people say that it can handle more power than the type r. who cares if something plays a db louder. the question is, for how long can it play at that output.

ive owned alot of kicker subs. from the first comp, there funny coned spl model ect. they all have been reliable except for the first comp. i tore the stitching with my punch 200ix. i beat the crap out of several L7"s and and a 2 L5

prefab box i got from trading circuit on ebay. no problems.

i just wanted to try something different. i decided to stick with the ol' trusty.

I Payed 214 Shipped For My 15. Its Going To Interesting How It Performs.

Forget Paying 4oo Bucks For A Sub. You Can Buy Two Quality Subs Of The Same Size And Power And Get Louder With A Good Install.

I Have Some Cash To Work With, But Not For A $400 Sub. To Each His Own.

well I agree, to a degree. But Tommy and I talked via PM's and I pointed out well more than I would post in the public.I do not ask anyone to lie about anything, nor hold silent about anything. I do not ask anyone, nor tell anyone what/when/how to say anything. He voiced his opinion, as well as the other team mebers, voiced theirs.

But after I spoke with tommy about what I perceive it as, he totally understood, or at least, I hope he did.

Comments over the time frame, have been more than just this one post, or forum. hence, why I finally spoke up.

product wars will always be on public forums, as well as personal favorites, part of the game.

But like I said, i prefer not to go into grave detail, as it is a public forum, but what i told him, I still stand behind.

now as far as the other guys, they said what they felt personally. And as much as I hate to say it, but I agree with a huge portion of it. But being the team leader, I can't always make everone happy with my opinions, or considerations I deem necessary to make this team maintain the levels I desire.
