Cutting stage of lifting?

I've just gained 30 pounds recently over the last few months going crazy lifting and eating like a pig. I used to be about 125 and now I'm hovering around 160 lbs right now (I'm 5 foot 9). With how I've been eating though I've definitely gained a little fat around the midsection (I have a 4-pack, can't get those bottom two to pop out) and I'm not as cut as I used to be.

What kind of carbs would you suggest having while trying to cut weight? I've been having chicken for protein which i know is all lean. I heard a lot of the whole wheat stuff (like brown rice and pasta) are better than the average everyday stuff, but I looked at the nutritional facts and it looks the same to me. What am I missing?

I've started running and stuff, and I've always done a hardcore ab workout practically every day except my rest day. Am I overdoing the ab exercises?

I know this isn't relevant. But why are you so concerned with it? The only reason i ever worried about losing mass was when i had to make weight for a match.
This isn't for me, its for my girl. She wants to shed some weight and isn't as serious about the gym as I am.

Yeah, just wasn't wanting flaming at first, but later figured it was better to just get out the truth so that I could get the best answers.

Adipex is the best by a long shot, just not paying 3 bills for 90 pills (used to be 110)

OK then, she can:

in that case maybe a cortisol blocker?
Seeing as how she isn't serious about the gym, that probably makes cortisol blockers a bad idea.

You do bring up a good point here. However, I'm not sure what it is...but I'll try to figure it out after I get done rubbing one out //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif

Again, to repeat myself from the second reply:

Ephedrine

Caffeine

Multivitamins

Green Tea Extract

Read my dosing on the 2nd page as your body gets used to it. If your g/f isn't extremely serious about the gym then why even bring up clen or t3? Do her a favor and don't even mention them.

Ab workouts really can't be overdone. 90% of your abs come from genes and low bodyfat % anyways. If you have the time, feel free to throw in some small ab workouts.

As for carbs, some things you want to eat are:

Oats

Bananas

Whole Wheat Pastas

Brown Rice

Sweet Potatoes

The main difference between good and bad carbs is the Glycemic Index (GI). Do your research over on bodybuilding.com

They'll be able to extend on to my answer and set you up on a proper diet
