cutting out MDF rings for fiberglass

My personal choice is my trusty router and a jasper circle jig. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

good ol' jasper medium circle cutting jig.
http://www.woodcraft.com has it $5 cheaper than parts express //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I got mine from harbor freight of all places . Walked in one day to get some chip brushes, there sat a whole bin $14 each //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/omg.gif.05aa02c3095d6ce9338996654eca0863.gif so of course I had to buy 4 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You just use a Compass for Diameter? I drew mine out. Does RE send Templates with the subs when you buyem?
Nope. But on their website under Tech they tell you the cut-out hole diameter.. then you can divide that by 2 and set your compass with a tape measure.

Thats what I did... no router here.

i don't know bout rotozip, seems like it would take all day.

I tried it, even when going slow managed to burn my mdf.

I'd recommend a router or jigsaw Def.

can get one for 20$ at hardware stores

Just ordered my jig for the router. Just need a plunge base for it now. Sounds like a trip to Sears is in order for tomorrow.

As for the RotoZip, I know that is what Lloyd used on the 20 8's so it must not have taken TOO long //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif. I've yet to try mine out (crappy weather //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif)

Nah, some of their stuff is still selling on Amazon so I know they are out there. I noticed that site issue a week ago. I've sent them an email...

Restarting the phone every 1-2 days is a plus too. My moms phone is useless by the third day of not restarting. As soon as it's restarted it's fine.
