Cutting my box

I have a prefab box for two 10's, would it be worth it to cut the box to make a box for one 10" sub instead? I don't want to spend any money on another single box.

no it wouldn't be worth it

If you have access to tools and even a little bit of woodworking skills it isn't very hard to build a new one yourself

A new sheet of wood isn't very expensive either

its prefab, unless its sealed, you are way better of getting a new box. Find some one close to you to buidl it.

sell the prefab for $20 or so and buy you a sheet of 3/4" mdf

i am moving to college so having someone else build it wouldn't work im leaving tomorrow but i am in the process of making one myself right now i have the tools and materials, itll just be a small sealed 10" thanks

Call it custom and sell it for $100 on craigslist. No joke.
