Blown Sub need help..

I had a Quantum Audio one 12" Sub 1500 watts 750 RMS with a Song Xplod 1200 max amp and my Sub has blown:verymad:. I spent $90 for this on ebay and it was brand new and it was loud. I obviously need a new one any suggestions on a single 12" that will be loud but not expensive. I don't i don't know if i will have a lot of options but i don't wanna spend more than 150.

if it blew the coil or burned tinsel lead, you might want to turn the gain down on the amp a little.

that 1200 watt amp does maybe 400rms and I have seen at least 3 poof smoke personally.

On that power check out the IXL from mach 5 audio, or RE SL subs.

Lets see..he tried to give you good advice and you spit in his face...cool. makes us all wanna help you...

1. The equipment you had is quite frankly, trash. Everyone starts somewhere so don't be offended. This is not a cheap hobby, and if you buy the cheap stuff you won't get anywhere near good quality, as you just saw. READ. Spend time online researching good brands and good equipment and save your money for those. You will be MUCH happier in the long run with a real system.
