Cut hole too big, now what?

I got my new router and guide and it was my first time using it and I ended up cutting a 17" hole when I need 16 3/4, will I be okay mounting in that with an extra 1/8 of an inch on each side? or what do I do now?

just put the sub in and see...may still work 100%...

I think it might, something went wrong with the guide on the second baffle so I've got a **** ton of sanding to do

It would avoid all the breaking problem the jasper has.

that would be awesome, this one is adjustable by sliding a bar so it tends to be inaccurate and I experienced that.

Youll be fine with that quarter of an inch. Just center the sub when you mount it..

You dont think prefab boxes are all EXACTLY on spot for all subs do you? they cant be, and Ive never heard of anyones sub being ****** into the box before..

run your screws in at an angle when mounting the subs so they bite
