Do you still have the box you used for the 18" AA? If so I'd trade you some recone parts for/towards it if you're still in the market.

Did you clamp your amp to get the 4800 watts, or is that an estimate?

I have clamped it before starting at .5 and rising to 1.04 which is where I got the 4800w figure from. Haven't clamped this exact setup although I certainly could just for kicks.

It's all good. I'm going to build one myself today or tomorrow. Won't be pretty, but I don't plan on using it for long anyway.

Here's a unique one I did for someone recently. Fluorescent Yellow port (will glow under black light) with truck bed liner for the rest of the box. Dual 12 box for Xcon 12's and a Sundown 3500d.

The connectors you use on your boxes, are they just threaded brass with some brass washers?

Occasionally I use brass bolts/washers/nuts but normally I use Dayton Binding posts available through partsexpress.com. They take 8awg bare wire on the outside and 1/4" ring terminals on the inside. They include solder tabs in case you prefer that. Here is a pic of them:
