Custom Sub Box Estimate.

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about installing a subwoofer in the trunk of my Mercedes.

I would like to know what fee a reputable shop might charge to custom fabricate an enclosure for it.

Below I have attached a (very) rough rendering I prepared just to give you guys a basic idea of what I have in mind:

If anyone can provide me with an estimate (ball park) as to the potential cost of such a project that would be great.

Oh good, that is significantly less expensive than I thought it would be.

Curious - Do you have any idea how much more it might cost were I to have it made out of fiberglass (painted to match my car) instead?

If you can photoshop, you can build a custom fiberglass box. Just do your research and bust out some elbow greese.

Should be under $200. But ya DIY, materials should be under $75. Maybe add another $25 for a can of primer and paint. I think if u match the carpet it would look alot better then matching car color tho.

i agree with that, but i'd charge about 220 - 250 for something like that.
