custom mount of 6.5's

i want to mount 6.5's in the carpet area that comes up into the center console as you can see in the picture. access to that down there is pretty easy and i was just going to cut out the spots with a jig saw and hook the 6.5's up in that. problem im thinking though is this going to make my 6.5s in my door sound bad? or will it just make them louder because all 4 6.5's will be in the front?
