Custom harnesses behind head unit?

Hey guys. I usually post on caco since I've been banned from diyma, roe, and smd (smd twice actually) and I just made a thread so I figured I would make a new, different thread here.

I am currently re-doing all the wiring behind the head unit. Basically just cleaning it up, adding some stuff and making it just generally more pleasant to deal with the next 100 times I take the head unit out.

I would like to know if there are any such things like custom harness or something like that that I can install behind the dash that would really clean stuff up.

Mainly I would want to cut all existing wires (for the head unit and dimmer anyway) and permanently mount them somewhere with easy to use hookups (something quick release or something???)

Perhaps I am putting too much thought into this, but I have a lot of hobbies, so I can't really drop a lot of cash on car audio as it would limit my other more useful hobbies, so I like to do stuff that is cheap, hands on, with great results and something I can be proud of (for example, sleeving and heat shrinking all of the connections to my amps, fuse holder and distribution blocks - took me a few hours, didn't cost much, and the end result was something I was proud of)

I'm not exactly sure what I am going for right now. So any suggestions are welcomed.

Also I want to do this partly so I have an excuse to cut all the wires and sleeve/heat shrink them :p

Here is behind my dash right now. I cut some of the plastic away to get room and it helped a LOT with organizing things and getting around behind there.

The 2 sleeved cables are the stock wires going to the front speakers. I separated them from the rest of the harness and clipped them off to the side so that when I remove the head unit, they would not be affected (BTW I've got my amp in the back running speaker wires to the back of the head unit, where they are connected to the stock ones)

im not quite sure i get what your saying... ik that wal mart has harnesses for every vehicle, all you do is wire the harness up to your head unit and clip it in to the factory clip. there around 10 bucks. thats the only solution that i can think of if you want a clean setting
