Looks good. Why did you tape off the entire car? I would have just used those rolls of brown paper they use at body shops.

im not really a pro but if i were to do it I would have 2 angled mdf boxes on a base, stacked mdf rings so that the fleece wouldnt hit the corners, then fleece, but leave the last ring unglued (duobled up for flush mount) so the last ring becomes a part of the glassed piece (it gets screwed in later) and becomes a main support for the glass. then you could pop out the fleece and glass it from the back.. much easier and imo stronger especially around the ring.

Ive been down your road and it sux. i hope ur girl gives good massages since youll be spending 90 hrs bent up in that trunk. and ill tell you right now itll be **** hard to finish right. If you took ur time you would have a better plan.. you havent even gotten to the hard part yet

BIG UPDATE!!!

so first of all today (which started at 7am btw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) i got teh 3rd and final layer of my 2 oz chop mat on...sturdy as hell...

second of all, to make sure my bondo was not damaged by teh rain last nite, i did a quick crappy layer of bondo on teh left side...

and for teh remainder of the 4 hours, i fleeced teh middle portion, PITA!
