correcet, 4 more layers of mat/resin on each side and then a trim panel over the whole thing, including the mitsu logo and amp rack and then 2 layers of mat/resin on that and then LOTS of sanding/bondo

im gonna be making some door panels, how should i go about those? just mat them? its just for 6.5s

heres a tip: fiberglass the INSIDE of the enclosure through the speaker opening; it won't take up hardly any noticeable airspace and will make that thing SOOOOO much easier to sand/bondo/finish

and no, first u need to fleece and then buy either kitty hair (everglass mixed with shortstrand mat) or tiger hair (everglass mixed with longstrand glass) and just use that, no need to use resin at all really...unless u want to use it for ur very first layer

tiger for bigger areas and kitty for smaller, so ur gonna want kitty

cool, so just like apply that on the fleece and its the same as putting mat and resin down? just one less step and easier? ima order some...

ur prolly gunna want to strengthen the fleece b4 u apply teh kitty hair...with like one coat of resin...because unlike fiberglass, u dont paint kitty hair on, u SPREAD it, so ull need a sturdy surfact to do that on
