I know you didn't come here to hear this, but have you thought about selling your audiobahn and getting something different? Audiobahn is not particularly a great marque for audio, especially their subwoofers.

3.3cf per woofer tuned to 35hz

as for the other guy if you thinkautobahn sucks you need to hear our civic at work with 3of the 10's it came second last yeah in iasca in sound quality

One case does not change the brand's purpose. Audiobahn is not there to sound great, nor do they try to claim that, so your work civic is pretty much irrelevant.

my brother had 2 of those 12's in 2.5 each at an unkown tuning (prefab box) it did alright for the cheapness. but sounded like ......... yeah i think you know what to expect.

If you will consider changing speakers, then we need to know two things: what kind of music do you listen to and what sort of bass do you like? Do you just want it loud, or crisp and clear? Maybe a little of both? If you want the best of both, you'll be spending so much money that it isn't worth it for a car anyway, so a compromise is always an option if you don't necessarily want just pure loudness or clarity.

well I listen to everything to spanish to english , I like my bass to be deep and to sound strong with a good low end frequency. I like my bass to go with my music not the bass to take over the vocie , like feeling like in a consert. Im runing my set up with a ppi and an alpine head unit with an audio art crossover. I went to d tronics a car audio store and they told me that I needed a custom size box for thoes woofer but maybe they wrong . they were charging me a lot for one but I ratter make it my self whit you all help

hey the autobahns kill the type r alpines. ive tried alpines and they cant hit most of the bass notes low and high the auto's might not be a jlaudio quality name but there build quality and performance is deff there

idk what youre talking about type Rs for. they definately hit lows and get loud. JL is decent quality but at a stupid high price, and i would ditch the audiobahns to get a single sub that will take up less space and give you good bass presence. something that hits with authority and adds low end to the audible spectrum of sound that you experience.
