Changes in the price of oil and the price of gas are pretty much synchronous.
Remember how in your great wisdom you "taught" us all that rising gas prices can affect retail product prices?
Well, you shouldn't be shocked that since gas is refined from oil, the movement of oil prices DIRECTLY moves the prices of gas.
Here's an overlay of gas vs oil prices 1995-2025. Coincidence?
No.
Anyone who can set oil prices is setting gas prices, too.

Direct - without intervening factors or intermediaries.
If you don't mean "direct", then don't use the word.
It's YOUR belief and you have clearly stated several times that the POTUS affects gas prices DIRECTLY (i.e.
without intervening factors or intermediaries).
And now you are defending that statement again.
A definition of a word is not "how (I) see things". It is literally the meaning of the words you type here.
YOU chose to use the word "directly". The MEANING of that word is "
without intervening factors or intermediaries".
If you do not believe the very words you speak (in this virtual arena) and do not want them to be considered your beliefs, then maybe you should choose your words more wisely.
No one can see you when you are "speaking". No one can hear your inflection, dialect, or anything else. The words are all you have to convey what you want heard.
If you can't use words properly, don't expect people to understand you.
Here's your chance to clarify what word did you actually want to use instead of "direct". It will help us understand you better.
Those are both indirect, and I never said the actions of a POTUS cannot have an influencing effect on oil or gas prices. YOU are the one who said Biden moves prices DIRECTLY.
Now you are backpedaling to say it can take weeks, when I ask why Trump hasn't already "done" it.
You must go to some REALLY backwoods gas stations if it takes them weeks to change prices at the pump. Do they get the notice by Pony Express? Even the most rural gas stations here have telephone and can update daily.
