How much more inefficient would a sundown 1500 be at .5 ohms than a zx1500.1 at 2?

I don't know how you'd ever find an accurate efficiency for the SD at 1/2 ohm. If you come across a bench test it's highly unlikely they will have tested it at an impedance less than it was designed to run at. I would expect it to drop from its 1 ohm efficiency though. I'm guessing the Kicker is average 70-75%, not sure what SD is. Being as it voids the warranty, I would imagine a good deal less efficient and not too good on the amp.

The SAZ-1500D is 67% efficient at 0.5ohm.
