Cu. Ft. Box Volume - Quick Question

I already posted this thread once, but under the wrong catagory. Sry for the double

I'm getting 3 15" JBL DVC 4ohm subs.

All three subs are in a single ported encloser.

i read on the website im buying my subs from that for that type of sub, the ported box volume should be 3.50 cu. ft.

I should have at least 4.50 cu. ft. in my box, but PLEASE tell me that the cu. ft. recomendation means that:

1X15"s=3.50 cu. ft.

--------- -------------

3X15"s=3.50 cu. ft.

If this is not correct, and 3X15"s=11.50 cu. ft. then I'm screwed and my box is worth sh*t : )

Please only respond if your sure of your answer!

Thanks,

-Cade

normal 15's are around 3.5 per sub. and i am sure that it's 3.5 per in yer case. also figure in port volume and speaker volume. yer gonna be at or above 4cuft per sub. i'd even go as far as saying that if you build a box 3.5 that you'll have a helluva time fitting 3 15's into it.
