CT Sounds 4000.1 Blown...

So in your opinion, what amps aren't garbage?.. thinking about selling the new CT I get, not sure yet tho. Thinking about running my mmats 3500.05 until I make up my mind.

Mmats is a solid choice, really I would see going from American made to Chinese made as a huge downgrade and I can't fathom why you'd have taken it out to begin with. My issue is that there are some of proven 5K amps out there. Look to those built on the Atomic 5K, AB 500.1, or Sundown 4500 boards, and built in Korea. DD doesn't make a bad amp, the IA 40.1 is also know reliable. You might try Taramps or Stetsom. I've heard mixed reviews on both, but I've personally had good luck with stetsom amps and I see a few Taramps locally doing work. Rockford's 4K is known to randomly self destruct as is "The Fix" both are prohibitively expensive to repair when they break.

And you never mentioned what rating fusing you had on that amp.

Also never mentioned what exactly your electrical consists of other than wire size (unless I'm missing it somewhere). Running a stock alternator?
