Crytal SSCS vs Pioneer Premier 720prs

I am looking at both of these. The pioneers would cost atleast $50 more. Has anyone heard both of these sets? Which one would have better sound overall? I've read that they both have very strong midbass which is what i want. Does anyone know a good (cheap) place to buy the pioneers? Sonic electronix has them for $219 but they've been out of stock for quite a while now.

I'd vote bridge that amp and use it with the Crystal comps.

720prs would probably sound nicer. The nice part is you dont need to throw alot of power at them and they play loud. I have heard alot of different component systems, and the 720prs has HUGE midbass. It also has a pretty nice tweeter that has not hint of harshness what so ever.

I have not personally heard the SSCS6's but alot of the feedback on this forum seems to point to their loudness. From what I have read, they start to sound good at around 150rms. Another plus is they can be had for $160.

You can save some money by going with the Crystals, but on the other hand the 720prs' sound as good if not better than alot of offerings that would usually run about $500-$600.

If i went with the crystals i would be able to spend the difference in price towards a better amp. So i'm just wanting to know how big the difference is between the two?
