Lol, but I disagree (depending on what exactly we are talking about).

It is extremely possible to have a woman who is self-confident, does not need constant reassurance and realizes that it is just not in some men to be chatty. In fact, an outgoing woman may very well be attracted to this type man. If you listened to Paula Abdul you would know this already.

BTW, a woman that fits this description is more likely than not to be attractive.

I don't really have anything to say.
What feedback does she want? I do not speak to her so that I need 'feedback'. Either she is listening or she is not. If I ask a question, I do expect a response. But if I make a statement, I do not expect a response, except for acknowledgement. If I wanted her to know something I would tell her, I would not make a statement, hope for a follow-up question, just so I can make another statement. That doesn't make any sense at all.

How does it not make sense? She doesn't want to bore you if you have no interest. She wants you to show you have interest(even if you don't). It may seem stupid to you, but it isn't to her and it goes a long way. Is the price that heavy for you that you can't muster up some pseudo-interest and formulate a conversation bout it?

Actually, my wife is a lot like that. She is very outgoing. She can speak to a group on a moment's notice. I, on the other hand, am much more reserved. I used to spend days preparing for an hour presentation-- now it is more like half day if it is a new topic.

She never has been uncomfortable with silence between us. To her it's a positive thing as I don't ever really get on her nerves.
