Hiya folks.
Looking to upgrade the audio in my car and I think I have decided on using a single 4 channel amp. I intend to use 2 channels to run the front soundstage and bridge the other 2 channels to run a single sub.
Looking at the specs on this amp:
RMS Power Rating:
4 ohms: 112.5 watts x 4 chan.
2 ohms: 225 watts x 4 chan.
Bridged, 4 ohms: 450 watts x 2 chan.
That would be pretty much perfect for my needs. Especially the 450 watts @ 4 ohm for the sub. I am thinking of using PG 6.5 comps up front and a single sub in the back.
I know Crunch isn't the finest quality by a long shot, but how are they for a daily driver thats not looking to compete in db contests?
Also, how accurate are their RMS power ratings?
If you thinks its garbage, any other suggestions for any amp with similiar power ratings and less than, say, $250.
