Crunch GP2500D? decent amp?

i have two 12" pioneer TS-W3001D4's that im gona be pushing at 1 ohm. Im waiting to buy an aq2200 but im thinking about just getting this instead. They will each need 1000 to 1300 rms. Im just wondering what everyones heard about this amp or the company. Im not looking to make a comp car or go overboard I just want a reliable daily driver that can push these. thanks

It's a hifonics brand. People have their issues with them, but I loved the three autotek's I've owned and I did have a 4 channel crunch.

In saying that, I want to go a different diection. got a 1900 watt Supersport that should do you well. no scratches, comes with a bass knob too.

How much is the crunch going for?

Your not going to get 1000w rms to each out of a gp2500. No way. 2500 is the max

rating on that amp, unlike the gp3000pro (3000+rms). Your looking at 650-700 per

speaker on good electical.

There is a BIG difference between the 2500D and 3000D.

The GP 3000pro is rated at 3000rms

The 2500D is 2500 max

I wouldn't expect more than 700 to each speaker.

The price difference is huge between the 3000 and 2500, and it is like that for a reason.

Yes, just get a 1/0 or 0 gauge wiring kit. Kicker makes a good one and knucKonceptz have good stuff too. U need a kit with fuse holders and it's nice to get a distro block too. Do the big 3 (see sticky).

almost bought it thinking it was 2.5kw rms. it isnt. glad i canceled my order. something like 1300w rms or something of that nature.

i'd get a kx or zx 2500.1 since they are just bad *** and worth every penny. but then again i'm slightly biased
