hmmm...I'm guessing it wouldn't be so good to do that...I think various crossover parts do give off heat when they stop the signal from getting through...how MUCH heat though I don't know...awesome idea by IGNORAMUS to put them in tupperware though...you don't sound like an IGNORAMUS.

I always just wrapped mine in a plastic bag and taped it up, never had a problem in the Florida rain with that.
