If I'm not mistaken cost is around $600 too, so 10k is stupid money.

I was able to buy two at $630 a pop, but there are real people who'd pay without a second thought. I know it's their marketing strategy, if they say it's the best and the best should come with a price people will think that it makes sense. I have 4 amps (2 x UL-A350 ver.1 & ver.2, 2 x UL-A2500 ver.1) and none of them came with any documents (instructions, warranty or specs) just the 4 washers and screws and the bass knobs. All came in a brown corrugated box with a printed (home printer) label of company logo and model. The serial numbers were done from a home labeler, although one of them came with product catalog. I think the only special printed box is for the UL-12's and the rest come in a cheap Taiwan brown box. I'll give them credit though for the UL-12, it is really a bad boy. I'm redoing my GTI and I am upgrading from the two UL-A2500's (subs) into one Lanzar OPT 110001D that doubles as a plank if you ever need one. Can't wait to see and hear how it handles 1.5ohms.

amps are on my bucket list but may be off after looking at gut shots.... already had the UL12's not impressed for the price or even half of what they are trying to sell for.... you could get them for 350-400 easy back in the day..... now they want thousands.... I didn't think they were worth the 350 compared to other subs nowadays..... don't get me wrong they were some mean subs... I guess I expect more out of the "BEST" in the world.... lol

Because that is the amp I'll be using for my UL-12's which used to be powered by the two CM UL-2500 ver.1 amps.

I'm not sure this UL-A2500 ver.2from metroholdings is a sacrificial sale or that is how they earn their pay. That's how I was able to purchase it at a very low price from their once in a while auctions. You should see the inside of the ver.2, I couldn't imagine how it would put out 1950W.

You have to admit the two combined (3800W) vs. the 11000W @ 1ohm is clearer in my eyes.
