Crimping Wire

hammer and concrete...*sigh* man I hate it when the wire slips right off the connector just when you think you got it on nice and tight.

I say vise clamps, too.

Hammer + Flathead Screwdriver + something hard + electrical tape = 0/1 and bigger crimper
x2. You rotate the wire so the hits from the flathead go in different directions, making it hard for the wire to come out. Been doing it this way for a while now, never had a problem. Only time I had one come out was when I didn't rotate the wire, and the hits were all in one direction, lug slid right off.

i use a screw driver to hit one side down then i do the old fold over and break the torch out and solder it together i have also used the vise. but know i just buy terminals i can slide the wire in and set screw it in.

table vice ftmfw. step 1. insert terminal. step 2. vice it shut. never ever ever comes off. we had a tug o war with one of them lol
That reminds me, a guy at work had a die that he puts in the table vice specifically to crimp large rings. IDK where he got it, he may have made it himself. I'll ask. Thing is sweet, and even easier than beating with a hammer.
