Actually, thats where you are wrong. Both of the cops saw the guy and his car because he was still sitting there talking shit. I'm pretty sure the one white officer that was there either got a good look at everything or got the license plate number because he said he'd file a report and be on the lookout for them, but idk.

So me and my friends were going to the theater earlier today. Some guy in a POS blue oldsmobile flies up next to me on the double lane and tries to race me, well i'm in a decent pickup, and of course I pull ahead of him and disregard all of his yelling. We go through a few more lights where he'd pull up next to me on passenger side and yell shit at me, but my windows are tinted at like 3% so I just ignored him since he couldnt see me anyways...... big mistake.
That just made him angry, we got through the light and he starts riding my *** trying to hit me, but every time he speeds up I manage to evade him. He flies up next to me when i get stuck behind a minivan, then pulls about 10 feet in front of me, OPENS HIS DOOR (going about 50mph) and slams the brakes. I swerved into the turning lane to miss the door.

That is when I realized he was REALLY messed up on something..

I see a big red light up ahead of us where the two main roads cross.....long red lights, lotsa traffic. I cut into an old shut down kroger parking lot to take the back roads to get to my destination, since there is less traffic and no lights or stops....

I'm piss scared by now, i know this guy is fcked up....im just driving in circles, he slams on his brakes, jumps out of the car as im turning around and starts running full force after me. I only missed him by about 4 feet (I now think i should have just gone ahead and hit him...) And i was like well heck hes 50 feet from his car now i can get away....after sitting at a light for about a minute we get the green and im back on my way...not for long, he starts swerving over the double yellow and gets right up behind me.

I hand my friend the phone and he calls 911. We tell the operator we need to get through to the lakewood substation. They say they have units on the way...

I finally make it to Lakewood Village where the theater is. As im coming in the guys realize im headed to the police station. They turn off. I thought they would leave us alone, then i realize they are just trying to cut us off, luckily they got caught by traffic and I make it right to the FIRST parking spot in front of the station. The guys sit there and are talking shit right as two cop cars pull up next to me. They puss out and left.

We told the cops what happened, at first the one officer said we could have taken them (first humor in entire situation lol). But after hearing what we had to say he concluded the man was probably on PCP. I was too nervous i didnt get the license plate number, but both the cops got looks at the pos oldsmobile and said they would file a report on it and keep an eye out for the car.

Sounds like im over reacting, but seriously, its the people who are crazy and have nothing to lose who you should fear most, my biggest concern was that hed have a weapon and try to kill me, and i know if hes fcked up on drugs no matter what me or my friends could have done would have hurt him enough to stop him. I had a knife and would have used it, but idk. Thats just the most scared i've been in my life i think...

im 43, ive had similar situations a few times in my life, moral of the story?

Exactly. I know next time someone tries to pull crap on me im just gonna turn off and go somewhere else lol. There were three of us in my truck, and him and some kid in his car.... my friends cousin has a HUGE ego, hes always wanting to kick someones ***, and most of the time he does or at least puts up a good fight, and he was like "man that guy was fcking crazy fck that if he comes after us im running as fast as i can!"

To the OP, you did the right thing. So I see nothing wrong with going to to po-po's. This is coming from someone who has been in tough man competitions and I consider myself a pretty big guy and dont back away from most people, but when it comes down to having family or even good friends in my car, then I would be putting their lives in jeapordy as well.
