Shitty investments? Hmmm, I could afford to buy a 2006 bike, because it no doubt is one of the best bike's to be set up for track racing. I would not spring for anything else.
I also own a stunted out 02 Honda F4i (currently, not to mention all my previous rides), which cost me a total of about $2500. And when I am done with it...I can sell it for...guess what? $2500!!! And my truck that I bought for $5800 and still holds a wholesale value greater than that.

And yes, for my age I am an experienced track rider. I've done over 8 track day's alone...don't worry I don't expect you to know what that is. At $200 plus per track day, including when it rains, it gets expensive. I wouldn't expect you to understand why either.
