Craigslist problem?? Need advice

Ok so i am selling my car audio stuff localy for $200. I only put my phone number so i wouldnt get scams so i know these people are forreal about buying.

Well i get a call today and the guy says he will buy the stuff and all that and he will call me tommorrow and we will discuss meeting up an all that. Couple hours later another guy calls and says he will buy the stuff and i tell him that i have another guy that has called and wants to buy, and he then says he will buy it for 250.

Not really sure what i should do?? Any advice. I dont want to be a jerk to the first guy because he did want it first but then again an extra 50 dollars is nice

Call him back and say you have an offer of 250 and ask him if he wants to match it. If not sell it to the second guy.

haha yea i like that last idea but.. anyways i guess if i tell the first guy if he wants to match. And then the other guy goes to 300 and then they battle till one gets to a thousand lol not gona happen but would be pretty awesome.

I always keep my options open to everyone.....whoever shows me the money first gets the merchandise. Just dont let them know another person is interested and whoever pays first get the stuff....

no neither of them showed me the money... i just talked to them on phone. I didnt tell guy off i asked if he would match it and he said no. Ill find out if guy is forreal tommorrow cuz were supposed to meet up

Man money talks. You dont know either so who cares? First one with money gets the product thats how it always works! You shouldnt wait on anyone cuz than you might lose a sale.

Yeah anytime i am selllin somethin i get calls and emails all the time ppl sayin they wil give me this amount and we can meet up here, but most of them are jus BSn so I jus dont let anyone else kno that another person is interested unless I c sum money from sum1

Well i have got texts already also of people wanting it but none raised price til this guy. Look the other guy is from ohio and is just in my town for a couple weeks. I see it this way their were plenty of other offers on craigslist that he could find also its not like mine was the only one, he will forget about my sale quickly so its no big deal.

I just hope the guy offering 250 is actually forreal.
