crackling sound????

THIS IS MY SET UP

1 10in RF T110D4

hooked up to a mono MTX thunder 250(251D)

My KENWOOD 6/9s are on either side of the sub set 5-6in behind the sub

each 6/9s and sub have seperate boxs

this is all in the back of a 93 jeep wrangler

THIS IS MY PROBLEM

ever once in a while the sub rattles not all the time. almost like a crackling sound. its not the audio but the way it hits every once in a while.

could it be the box its in?

any help would be great. :boobies:

you sure its the box? maybe its your trunk rattling. When the sub hits a certain frequency it can cause ur trunk to resonate or something like that. You could try to put some Sound deadening all over your trunk. It should remove rattles and cause your sound to be louder and such. You could try it and see if it removed the "crackling" sound
