pills (and i mean legal pescription drugs) with out a RX is a felony in every state that i know (barbituates) and each one is a felony for possesion of a level ___ without an rx

x is a manslaughter charge in most states

get a good attorney pay the retainer fee and most will take payments on the balance, u have to ask ur self how much is ur freedom worth and do u want that mark on ur record for the rest of ur life

i carry a concealed loaded gun with the safety off in my car 24/7
i hide it under my babies car seat so they never see it when i get pulled over

best part is i didnt even pay for it, i found the gun in a dumpster with almost a full clip

and it was probably in a dumpster cause it got tossed after some for use, so if anyone got shot using said gun, guess what you get that charge as well!!!!

and i didnt relize X was so strict. We used to call it E in my day, and it was everywhere, like mesc, and dust.

You shouldnt be doing it anyway, Get a good lawyer, or catch up on all your STD shots. ;(

OP - do not go alone!!! Get a lawyer immediately; this, if anything, will show the court that you take this serious enough to get representation.

Google your states drug laws so you know what you are facing.

I was an idiot last month and got charged with possession and concealed weapon. The weed was mine, few pills of extacy were my friends, and I had a pellet gun in the back of the car, but they thought it was real so I got charged with concealed weapon.
I have my first court date coming up, I believe youre first appearance is just to say guilty or not guilty right and they set an actual court date for you?

I havent hired a lawyer yet, Ive made some calls but very few are returned. I was wonderring if I could go in to this first day alone and was wonderring what to say. Should I admit to the weed being mine or should I say not guilty and let the lawyer sort it out......

btw, for the 3 charges, the court DAY is all the same, but the 2 drug ones are in one courtroom in the morning, and the weapons charge is in the afternoon in another courtroom, if it makes a difference.

I was hoping they would understand it was just a pellet gun and wasnt loaded and no ammo in the car and that it was just for target shooting and such, but I dont know if it being hidden will hurt me at all, like its a freaking $40 crappy pellet gun that barely worked

If its your first charge dont waste your money on a lawyer, it will get you no where fast and with an empty wallet at that. Your already going to have court costs and fee's to worry about paying.

I cant remember exactly but I thought I plead no contest or something of the sort. Basically I just plead guilty, took it in the *** but they dropped the charges to disordely conduct and I got off fairly easy.

BTW I took it in the *** since it was my first serious charge and I didnt want to spend money on a lawyer, my record was exponged and I currently have no charges on file.

if you seal records you can legally check "no" when asked if convicted of a crime..but certain govt agencies have access to it IE for teaching jobs, etc. sealing records is a viable option for most people though.
