Couple wiring questions

I am in the middle of installing my crystal comps in my jetta. My question is do I run the speaker wires from the back of my AVN 6600 or do i just hook the crossovers up to my amp and the amp is getting a signal from the RCA? Also if I just daisy chain the RCA off of my subwoofer amp which is hooked up to the Subwoofer output in the back of my AVN6600 will that mean when I use the subwoofer controls that it would affect those speakers because it is getting the signal from the subwoofer rca output. Sorry if this doesn't make sense.

yes, use the front output for the rca's to your components amp. also, you run speaker wires to the crossover(mount it somewhere near your speakers for easiest install imo) and then from the crossover to each individual speaker.

so run another RCA from the headunit and not daisy chain off the sub amp?

also I'm guessing the wires out of the back of the headunit for speakers to be directly hooked up to will not be used as this is the internal headunit amp correct?

correct. you dont HAVE to hook them up, i always do incase an amp farts out or whatever, u can just run your speakers off the HU for a while, or if say your front are on an amp and you run some rear fill off the HU

cool, I get it now thanks. Should I run the 2nd rca's down the otherside of the car so that they don't distort?
