Couple questions about setting my gains.

I am going to be setting my gains tomorrow with a DMM and just have a couple quick questions.

First, the amp for my comps is a two channel, and the equation for the volts I need to have on the DMM came to 32 volts. Does that mean I need to have 16 volts on each channel, or just do one channel untill it shows 32 volts?

And also, my amp for my sub is 1000x1 rms, and the equation ame out to 32-33 volts, I was just wondering if that was right because I thought 32 volts = about 320 watts, but I could be totally wrong, but just let me know if 32 volts is correct for my mono amp sub. Thanks guys.

I calculated 22V for your components sqrt(130X4)

and 32V is good for 1000W @1ohm

Awesome, thank you so much man. Just one more thing, about the 22v reading, will that be in just one channel, or do I have to divide that by to into each channel, so 11 volts in each channel?
