Contrary to forum boners, the big 3 HONESTLY doesn't help THAT much. Will it help some? Sure. Will it help with around 50A of current draw? NO........................

If you experience dimming with that kind of power, I'd be willing to bet that you have a VERY poor ground for the amp.......................................

have you checked your voltage? Im running 1000 watts and havent had even a slight dim, with no big 3 or cap. My amp doesnt fall below 12.8, and it usually stays around 14.

it says in your sig "scosche 1/0 big 3" but you said you didn't do the big 3..................................
