I'm in Ur F0rumZ
I have a basket in the trunk that is held in place by a bungee cord, in with the audio system. A few days ago, I was playing around in some twisties with the system off. Next time I got in the car, i noticed the system lacked some bass, but was still hitting a tiny bit. I then turned it up for a few minutes and the bass went up with volume, but it was very muted. I decided to shut the system off after roughly 5 minutes of high volume.
I looked in the trunk and found out that my basket was actually wedged INTO my woofer the whole time.
My question is whether or not i could have damaged the VC's. The sub sounds fine and hits as hard as it did before, but should I be worried? The sub is a Xenon 10 dvc 2 ohm, and it is getting roughly 450 RMS at peak, which I rarely ever hit
