I narrowed my decisions down i now have my money , i was wandering should i go wit 2 15" mojos,2 15" L7's , or 2 15" Type Rs ,i am looking for extremely loud bass, i like L7's but i heard they bust very easy , can someone please HELP ME with the decision, my objective is to get loud? BTW there goin to be ported watever i get and recieve 1000 watts each. THANX

I love MOJOs. I would personally get those. For no other reason than that I'm kind of a Memphis fanboy and everyone and their brother has L7s and Type Rs.

Although, I did know a guy with 6 12" MOJOs on about 1000w each with a few extra batteries. All put in a wall in a Focus hatchback. Thing pushed out so much air, it blew my hair back from about 15 feet away.

Hope you're planning on upgrading alternator, battery, Big 3, etc.

you will need a new alternator for all of them. it doesnt matter what kind of subs you have, its about how much power your pushing and current your drawing. i personally loved my l7's. i say go with the l7's but thats my personal preference. and i aslo never had any problems what-so-ever. your choice. but you will need big three definately, and i would recommend a HO alt. for no matter what you get.

easily in the$300 neighborhood for an HO alty. Big 3 is just upgrading your main power and ground cables (for battery and alternator) with 0 gauge power cable for better current flow.

i would vote l7's for loud, but feed them less than 1000rms, unless the signal is totally unclipped. imo. l7's aren't the worst sounding subs in the world, but still can sound alright.

I love my L7. It'll take much more than 1kW... in fact I've got mine running on a 2kW amp, and it takes all the juice I can give it. Got me a 144.8 in a friggin van.
