Cool amp racking

Ok, here's the first order of business on this thread, I've been wanting to know for a while how you would make one of those motorized amp racks that fold in half/ split into 2 to open up? I know you use some kind of motor, and I've heard some people say they think the guy (the guy in 2 Fast 2 Furious) used hydrolic pumps to pump up his amp rack, but I thought it might work like one of those tape players where you press eject and it gets motorized by those little gears/sprockets? I am thinking about doing that some day (hopefully) if it isnt like $1 000 just to motorize it, and I'm sure any knowledge would help anyone else thinking about doing that sorta thing......

After someone answers that everybody post their favorite amp rack pictures/ links to amp racks! (dont post little amp on top of the box stuff either, I want some mounting that would take some time and thought to setup!

I'd say they just used actuators... actuators are used a lot in cars, i've even seen them in "license plate hiders", that fold the license plates under the car or slide them up. you can find pretty cheap actuators online, and then you can just build the amp rack yourself and hook them up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I just had to make this thread, ya I questioned the "hide away license plate" in Ludacris's "act a fool". Im looking here on google for actuators, but Im just getting myself more confused and lost. I suspect I am looking for a electric actuator set with a motor type thing, but Im still confused lol, help?

You could use some electric window motors from a wrecking yard could be easier that way.

yo look up the show on monster garage. they used them too there are alot of pic of tight amp racks. But computer is too slow so fuk it and I am tired. I did not see the movie so i do not kno extelly what u are takin about.
