i saw in a thread on another forum that if you have a subwoofers in a convertible you will lose 85% of your sound with the top down..how true is that? and will it help if the subs is facing towards the cabin

used to ride around in my buddies tiny car with the top down and it was loud. dont know about 85% of sound or whatever but idk.

Well if since you lose sound with the window down then it would make sense.

Convertibles = down fire setup.

You lose some output, but i dont think is about 85% thats just to much.

you'll def lose a good amount, you don't have that cabin gain that everone else will have. i don't know about 85% thought
