Nightshade or SPL?

thinking im gonna go with either 2 15'' nightshades or 2 mach5 SPL 15''s. suggestions??

daily driver, 1500rms to each.

also, recommended box specs would be great.

Isn't the SPL's rms rating like 3000 a piece? Would 1500 watts even get one moving?

SPL 15 is also a 1500 RMS sub.

Haha, why, because I gave an opinion? I have never heard the subs but from reviews I have heard that the SPL is slightly louder while the Nightshade sounds slightly better.

I believe Chad tested both and the nightshade was louder and sounded better on the lows.

Both woofers speak for themselves, respectively.

Mark has a fine product out there, but it is quite different from the Nightshade.

As of now the M5 is a D2 sub, so if you need a D1 immediately you are going to want to look more into the Nightshade.

The M5 is also a very low Q sub - if you like the sound of a low Q sub it will satisfy you daily - if not, the Nightshade may be more to your liking as it has a mid Q.

If it matters to you at all the Nightshade is assembled in the USA and customizable re-cones are available at a later date. That may or may not have any effect on your decision, based on what you are looking for.
