Connecting a Sub to a JVC KD LX-10

I may have posted this in the wrong section of the board previously but I am just looking for a bit of advice for connecting an amp up to a JVC KD LX-10.

The deck does not have a sub out so does that mean you use the Rear Out instead?

Are there any issues running a sub this way?

I am trying to get these answers for a buddy of mine and I just want to confirm that the rear out will work. I have no experience with this because my decks have all have a dedicated sub-out.

Any help would be appericated.
