I should just about be finished installing in the next few days and I have no idea about this crossover stuff. I have PPI amps for speakers and sub and they have built in crossover obviously. I have a Pioneer 5700 which also has crossovers.
Should I run the amp or subs crossovers and if so, what are some recommended settings. I am running my components in passive mode, so I'm using the included crossover for that.
Pioneer AVH-X5700 BHS
PPI BA1600.4
PPI BA1300.1D
Alpine 12" DVC 4 ohm Type R
JBL P660c Component 2 ohm
JBL P662 Coaxial 2 ohm
Some baseline settings appreciated. Also, if I do use amp to adjust.. how do you know the hz, since their not really marked incrementally ?
I'm assuming I leave bass boost off, also the 4 channel has separate dials for both front and rear speakers.
