Okay so here's what I've got.
2 JL 12W3v2-d4
One AP1500-1d
I wired the subs together to show the amp a 4ohm load. Should be 600W RMS they're getting, which is fine enough since they're rated at 300W RMS a piece. Right? Okay.
I soldered all of the connections. On the subs and on the box (it has terminals on it). Then I ran the wire to the amp. Started it up, and everything worked.
For a few minutes.
I shut it off, pulled the subs out of the box and discovered that one of my solders came off. Okay fine, re-solder, check all the others. Everything is fine. I play it again, same result. Works, but only for a minute or two and then cuts out. This time I pulled the subs, and they were fine. All the solders held. All the wiring looks okay. In-line fuse isn't blown. Power light on amp comes on. Doesn't go into protect mode.
Where do I go from here?
