my bad if theres already posts about this but i tryed searching and came up with nothing. so i plan on adding a Stinger sp70 in the trunk and i have no idea how to wire it? like is it from the battery up front all the way to back or is there another way of going about it, i want my car to charge both the batteries, idw have to charge them seperatly. and besides 1/0 gauge wire do i need to buy anyhing else to be able to connect the batterys??

thank you

ya wire in parrell with your front battery. + from front battery to the + on rear battery. fuse 18 inches from front battery and 18 inches from rear battery. also you can run the - from the front to the - on the back. some people just ground the rear battery in the back rather than run all the way back up to front battery.

So the best way to ground a rear batt is to run a ground wire all the way up to the front batt. AND ground in the trunk also?
The extra ground to chassis in the trunk is not 100% necessary, but I like to think of it as a backup ground. It will likely never be used by your system, unless there is an issue with the main ground wire between the batteries. It just does not hurt anything either. So if it makes your setup messy, or you just can't spare an extra foot of wire, that is the one wire you can leave out of the image above.
