That estimate will be spot on. Keep in mind almost all music is recorded at around -5 to -6 dB, so using a -3dB test tone is perfectly fine.Awsome, im expecting to get a DDM sometime in the next few days. I guess 40 volts would be good. 400 wats at 4ohms. Also, does any other voltage factor into that, or will this rough estimate be a good one?
is that whats on the back of the amp? It has a button that says tone. So idk. Plus idk where to get a test tone, and i guess i'd need a cd to burn it on. Will that tone work for my components too? That estimate will be spot on. Keep in mind almost all music is recorded at around -5 to -6 dB, so using a -3dB test tone is perfectly fine.
yes thank you. They are 4 ohms, and i want 50-60 watts going to them, so i still need a volt metter, but i know my gians aren't up too high, or at least im not plaing my music loud enoughYes, it's a set impedance. If the comps are 4 ohms, the amp will have a 4 ohm load.
i have sealed the inside. And all i did today was re-attach the sub, cept this time i really torqued the screws down, so the foam pad around thebottom of the sub got a good seal. No more leaks WOOT.Definetely , the silicone seal will help not only for the sub, but all the joints in the enclosure as well. Sell that thing up as air tight as you can get it or the results will be something similar to that of fresh puke.
