Computer Questions

Here if we catch you using FF and you installed it yourself that is a big 'no no' so what I have been telling people to do is purchase a flash drive and install Firefox on it.

If you are not that familiar with computers you can get something like the Sandisk U3 system which comes pre-setup with Firefox on it and so on.

Here is an 8GB one, you can get a 4GB a little cheaper if you don't want to spend that much.

Also comes in handy as we throttle bandwidth and watching shows on places like ovguide.com can be very slow so you can download at home, copy them to your flash drive and watch them at work.

wow, floppy disk... guess you have never heard of a usb thumb drive huh?
ahhh yes that too.

Want me to email the file to you?
yea i'll pm you my e mail

imma gunna have to go buy me one...

If they have it locked down like that you probably are not going to be able to install it yourself and need admin permissions.

I am pretty sure best buy, cc and others carry that so you may want to call and ask though it will probably be a little more expensive than newegg.

most likely it's a network based proxy.. IF you have access to the IE settings, check your connection settings. Other alternative would be throw firefox on a thumb drive and see what happens in there.
