hmmm, I waited to late to see all these posts, but thanks for posting.
I already fixed it before I left for work. I don't know what I was doing wrong tho, but when it got to the part where it said to pick a partition, instead of creating a partition, I just installed it on to the "raw" disk. Worked fine, now I got rid of all my errors, and xp running great.
