Computer guys

I just installed a wrong driver on my friends computer to help him fix his sound problems, i had it working before that, and thought it would help just to get the latest drivers even more, but i got the wrong one, now it doesnt work again, driver was for 9x and he has xp...

How do i uninstall the driver i just installed for a sound card and go back to what it was before when it was still working?

control panel>performance and maint>system>hardware tab>device manager>locate sound card>double click>drivers tab>roll back driver if i remember correctly

Usually you can just install new drivers right over old ones. In that case, just install the new drivers, with XP you can always roll back a driver in the device manager.
