well if hes too cheap to buy a cd why wouldnt he be cheap when it comes to interent connections? There's really no excuse to have dial-up in this age considering, if you can get phone service, you can usually get DSL ...
If you live in a town/city, then you have even more broadband options ...
7 KB/s = t3h gh3y ...
700+ KB/s = t3h w1n ...
That depends on where you live, Jmac. Outside of N. America there are still places in the world that broadband is a fairly new offering as the infrastructure to support it is still in development/construction and the prices for the service is still prohibitively expensive. Well - not unaffordable, per se, but not worth the cost. There's really no excuse to have dial-up in this age considering, if you can get phone service, you can usually get DSL ...
depends, I know Montecello doesnt have DSL in most of the town because the nearest switching station is more than 25000 feet from the town.
No, Jmac. I wasn't talking about Georgia at all. If you had actually read what I wrote you would have noticed that I qualified my statement in relation to locality. Are you telling me Georgia wouldn't have the infrastructure ?
As Georgia is decidedly inside N. America I don't reckon I was talking about there. That depends on where you live, Jmac. Outside of N.
