Computer acting weird

Lately my computer is always busy, the light is always solid and you can hear it.

I dont see any processes out of the ordinary, or any new services. I ran mcafee and it came up with nothing. Any ideas? also my gta iv started running real choppy at the same time. I think it may be a bad update or something. I already deleted two.

Ditch McAfee. Its a piece of shit and causes more harm than good. After you get rid of it download and run Avast. Its free.

Also get and run Malware Bytes Antimalware or Super Anti Spyware. Both are very good. Top of their class.

Update both and scan for viruses and malware. Then do a disk defrag.

i have heard a lot about malware bytes but not Avast.

Avast is really good. Very little resources used, almost forget it's there until you get something trying to mess with your stuff.

i removed it and it stopped doing what i said.

recently , my comp would enlarge EVERYTHING like it was in safe mode or somthing. then i installed 'updates' for the computer, and now it goes to restart, and will keep doing it over and over. doesnt get to a load screen, or even a compaq screen. just restarts over and over. anyone has this problem, PM me. i think its a virus thats going around
